Tax receipts

Thank you for making a gift to help end animal cruelty and suffering. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Every gift you make over $20.00 is eligible for a tax receipt. All tax receipts are issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) guidelines.

Your donation tax receipt

If you are an Animal Protector (monthly donor), a consolidated tax receipt will be issued in February after the previous tax year has closed. If you have provided World Animal Protection with your email address, your tax receipt will be sent by email unless you have requested otherwise.

If you gave a one-time donation online, your tax receipt will be emailed to you within 24-48 hours. If you gave through the mail or over the phone, your tax receipt will arrive within 2-3 weeks of your donation date.

If you have not received your previous year tax receipt by March 8, 2021, please contact our Supporter Care team at info@worldanimalprotection.ca.

If you require a tax receipt to be re-issued, please note that there is a 3-5 business day processing time.
